Meet the Founders of Moon River Wicca

Arietta Moon was dedicated at sixteen, and studied in both a solitary and a circle environment. In 1999 Arietta worked with the local authorities and the community in Basingstoke, Hampshire, to start a Pagan Open Circle. In 2003 her reputation had spread to encompass the greater pagan community, and Arietta became a celebrant for alternative life, love and passing ceremonies. Now focussing on her life as a mother, author, teacher and healer, Arietta also owns her own business providing celebrant work, designer magickal jewellery and handmade ritual robes.

Romany Rivers was dedicated into Wicca at the age of twenty by Arietta Moon, but her solitary studies started much earlier. Her Romany Grandfather taught her much on the cycles and seasons of life, herblore and folklore. Her interest these subjects has led her to open her own Holistic Centre and alternative shop in Winchester, England, and to pursue a personal career as healer, artist, poet and author.
